Yayoi shocks Lotte while iDOLM@STER campaign cut short by Hinata
BLOCK C ROUND THREE DAY TWO RESULTS
Yayoi Kise (Smile Pretty Cure!) – 267 Votes
Astarotte Ygvar (Astarotte’s Toy) – 171 Votes
Another Rie exits the tournament as Lotte is denied another chance at Elite Eight by Yayoi. Yayoi is also one of the other Precure character to reach top 16, the other being Nagisa whom reached Elite Eight so Yayoi may want to improve on that. This win sets up an unlikely Hisa-Yayoi block finals and it would be interesting to watch as for both its new ground and it carries quite a burden on them as for Hisa its her first and probably last chance for Elite Eight status and for Yayoi her series has finally reached top 16 once more.
BLOCK D ROUND THREE DAY TWO RESULTS
Hinata Hakamada (RO-KYU-BU!) – 246 Votes
Chihaya Kisaragi (iDOLM@STER) – 199 Votes
Its officially an end to the iMAS run for this year saimoe and for those who were hoping they make a splash this year due to their popularity in Japan, looks like there wasn’t a coordinated iMAS faction that could push their characters forward and seeing their respective match ups in Round 1 and 2, I would say they are being used more like tools to snipe down potential enemies of different factions by major factions such as Saki themselves. Nonetheless respectable run by iMAS if you take into account their dismay showing in prelims and in this battle RKB emerge victorious carrying on their Round 2 success to face Louise for the block while iMAS has finally been sent home packing.

BLOCK E AND F ROUND THREE DAY ONE PREVIEW
Another clash of top first prelimers. At least its the last match of the Group of Death.
Sakuno Uryuu (Mashiroiro Symphony) VS Sanya V. Litvyak (Strike Witches)
Like Hisa two days ago, Sanya finally break her Round 2 curse and proceed to new ground this time round. She also is the last standing witch after early exits of her squadron, especially that of Erica. Sakuno did well too by reaching so far for a new entry and she did that too by eliminating another Saki (in this case is Yumi). However like Block C matches two days ago she will go down in this fight against Sanya and exit the tournament today like Cthuga did. In fact these two groups seem to mirror each other with early forerunners being eliminated early (TOSHINO KYOUKO, Shizuno, Erio and Hinagiku) hence their Round 3 appearance seem to be unlikely at all. That being said one of them must exit their fairy tale run today and I am banking on Sanya to win this. Especially after her amazing coup over Hinagiku in Round 1.
My Pick: Sanya V. Litvyak
My Prediction: Sanya V. Litvyak
Kuro Matsumi (Saki) VS Ririchiyo Shirakiin (Inu X Boku SS)
Another Saki in this bout after a day’s rest from them. This time round its none other then Kuro Matsumi whom along with her elder sister are definitely wrecking their respective blocks throughout their two rounds thus far. Kuro did have the harder path as she had to survive a scare from Konoe early and to only face Nyaruko and fellow Saki, Ryuuka in the second round. The split did not halt her chances though as she press through Nyaruko, one of Saki’s main opposition I would say to only book another match with yet another Top Prelimer. Ririchiyo cant be underestimated though as she is after all a group topper and also booted Chitanda out of the tourny with impressive numbers too. This match will be yet another exciting match but with the Saki force that’s being rolling on ever since Round 3 started I would say Kuro take this with room to spare.
My Pick: Kuro Matsumi
My Prediction: Kuro Matsumi
PS: Sorry for the late post today. Supposed to do it yesterday but I was sick hence the hiatus. Will continue to update more regularly! So sorry for any disruptions!
