Dragon’s March

The elder sister allow the younger to march on to Semis

Quarterfinals Round 3 Results

Matsumi Kuro (Saki) VS Matsumi Yuu (Saki)

松実玄 (咲-Saki- 阿知賀編 episode of side-A)  VS  松実宥 (咲-Saki- 阿知賀編 episode of side-A)

.

1. Matsumi Kuro (Saki) – 181 Votes

2. Matsumi Yuu (Saki) – 178 Votes

.

A mere 3 votes allowed Kuro to march on to Semis. Yet another low voter turnout hence confirming how non Sakis are not caring how the Sakis are doing among themselves. Both have done very well and honestly if not for this draw both could have moved on to Semis easily unless they face Toki or Nodoka early on. Nevertheless one of the Matsumi sisters have moved on to Semis to face off against Shana or Hisa. Kuro has one more esteemed record under her belt with this win, winning over 5 first prelimers and the top percentage holder now. If she does win Saimoe she will have to be the one to face such a tough route for the crown.

Quarterfinals Round 4 Preview

Shana (Shakugan No Shana) VS Takei Hisa (Saki)

シャナ (灼眼のシャナIII -Final-)  VS  竹井久(咲-Saki- 阿知賀編 episode of side-A)

.

The last QF of the year pits yet another KugiRie against another Saki. Unlike the first QF where the weakest KugiRie (out of 2 lol) faced off against the possibly strongest Saki, this time its reversed. KugiRie’s strongest faces off against Saki’s weakest now. Hisa’s run has been spectacular since she has never move beyond Round 2 and this year she has broke her own records to reach QF. Personally I liked her most out of all Saki characters other then Toki but she is more of the cool type then moe type to be honest. Shana on the other hand is in her final year of running most probably and the luck of draw enabled her to secure a mostly easier route to Semis to aim for the crown once forth. These factors plus anti Sakis (if they bother to show up one more time) and KugiRie faction will allow Shana to win this even if narrowly just like her last 2 matches. Faction strength shouldn’t be enough for our Bucchou here unless Kuro fans wish for an easier path to the finals and will push Hisa to semis possibly. After all it was a tactic used by them when the plotted Chitanda’s loss to Ririchiyo in Round 2 for Kuro.

My Pick: Takei Hisa

My Prediction: Shana
